Genesee County is pleased to announce a county-wide Rental Assistance opportunity! Genesee County has established the Rental Assistance Program to assist low-to-moderate income households with access to up to six months of mortgage, rent or utility assistance to mitigate the impact of income losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and associated Executive Orders. Grant awards will be eligible for income losses experienced after March 16, 2020 and applicants must be able to document a loss of income as a direct result of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
