PUBLIC NOTICE

The Genesee County Program Year 2015 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is available for public review. The 2015 CAPER highlights expenditures of Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) funds for the period of May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016, and also provides information on activities undertaken with HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds for affordable housing in Genesee County, outside the City of Flint; as well as Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds to prevent and reduce homelessness in the County. Anyone wishing to examine the 2015 CAPER may come to the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) office located in Room 223 of the Genesee County Administration Building, 1101 Beach Street, Flint, Michigan. The CAPER will be available to the public Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. June 27, 2016 through July 15, 2016. The 2015 CAPER is also available on the GCMPC website: http://www.gcmpc.org. The CAPER may also be reviewed at any of the Genesee County local units of government offices during their business hours.

The public also has the opportunity to comment on the 2015 CAPER at a public hearing to be held during the Genesee County Community and Economic Development Committee (C&ED) on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Harris Auditorium, 3rd Floor Genesee County Administration Building.
