NOTICE OF FY 23-26 TIP CALL FOR PROJECTS
The Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance, with staff assistance from the Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC), has begun preparations for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Beginning October 11, 2021, GCMPC will begin accepting project applications from public and private transportation providers that have jurisdiction over transportation facilities or services within Genesee County. Project applications will be accepted for: federal road preservation, reconstruction, and expansion programs; the Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) program; the transit program; and the Transportation Alternatives and Safe Routes to Schools Programs.
All applications are due to GCMPC via the SurveyMonkey submittal website by Friday, November 12, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. All interested persons wishing to provide input or request information concerning the TIP process are encouraged to contact the appropriate transportation provider and/or GCMPC prior to the application deadline.
