Free Cycle Network
The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,194 groups with 8,557,109 members around the world. It’s a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It’s all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by local volunteers. Membership is free.

Free Latex Paint Recycling Program
Genesee County residents are able to drop-off latex paint for free at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 101 Burton Street, Flint, MI 48503 from 9:30AM – 4:00PM Tuesday through Saturday. Please view the list of items not accepted through this program. Also, latex paint can be disposed-of at Genesee County Recycle Day events or by referring to this guide.

Some community organizations, including schools and churches, participate in the paper retriever program where they can earn revenue based on the quantity of paper recycled through a large recycling container at their location.
